Creative Head
Our creative head, Kamal Grewal, is a graduate from St. Bede's College, Shimla, and a certified Floral Designer from The Sheldon School of Floral Design, USA. Kamal started designing towels in 2005. Since then she has continuously raised the bar and pushed the limits of designer towels. Her eye for detail, special finishes and layered designs are a benchmark in embellished towels today.

Operations Head
Operations at SNAAN are run by Uday Grewal, an alumnus of Mayo College, Ajmer, and a graduate from the University of Canterbury, New Zealand. Uday took it upon himself to further his mothers design skills and build a scalable business around it. Guided by his intuition and inspiration, SNAAN took the shape of the brand it is today.

It all begins with our creative head finding inspiration from objects and life forms that surround us. Each design is imagined and then visualized the old-fashioned way - a sketch by hand. Subsequent iterations add in the refinements of scale and detail. The sketch is now ready.
Embroidery
Once visualized on paper, the design reaches the delicate hands of one of our expert in-house craftsmen. From the time the first stitch is made, the embroideror will make decisions about the color of thread and the type of stitch used. The process requires an investment of time and heart to include the details that will make the embroidery truly stand out

A product from the SNAAN workshop is an artistic expression and a source of pride for both the designer and the embroiderer. To do justice to this piece of art, we ensure that all our products go through a special finishing process and a rigourous quality check before being packaged in our signature gift box packaging.
